Tesco Wines have recently launched a new Wine Festival, with 25% of all Wine and Champagnes and 50 wines at over half-price or less. There are some bargains to be had, but you’ve only got until October 4th 2011 to get your order in!
Included in the sale are fantastic choices of wines from all regions of the world including Australia, France, South Africa, New Zealand, USA, Italy, Spain and many more. If you have a favoured region you can easily narrow your search results down when buying online.
So, whether you are after an full flavoured Chardonnay, a zesty Sauvignon Blanc, a bold Shiraz, a smooth Cabernet Sauvignon, or just some cheap plonk to stock you cupboards up with, there really is something for everyone available right now at Tesco Wines online.
Just to provide a quick example of some of the great deals Tesco Wines are offering, we’ve picked out a few deals for you below from the “50% or less” section:
| Wine | Cost per case | Cost per bottle | Discount |

The offers above are just a very small sample of what’s currently on offer at Tesco Wines and the prices and discounts levels are taken directly off the website. We know that the discount levels that are quoted probably only apply to a certain timeframe and certain store, so you may need to take these with a pinch of salt when comparing prices.
As an example, the cheapest wine above is the FirstCape Chenin Blanc that is quoted as having a 62% discount, which means it’s original price was £7.47. We’re not sure how many people would buy it at full price, but at £2.84/bottle this is our recommended bargain of the Tesco Wines sale.
As you may know, Tesco wines require you to buy by the case rather than the bottle. However you only need to buy 1 case before being able to check out so, if you are limited to just a small order, it’s still easy to order online at Tesco Wines. If you have larger orders of over £99 and £140 you will also qualify for free delivery options so it’s worth considering a bulk buy if you might be interested in buying multiple cases.
This Tesco Wines sale offer could easily have been included in our Autumn Sales 2011 post, but we felt that it deserved it’s own special mention today due to the fantastic deals that are available.
We hope that you found this post useful and look forward to writing another one soon with more discounts for you.
Nick
