Free Competitions and Latest Discounts

What are the Popular Discounts for the start of the week?

Monday’s always an enjoyable day in our office and today has been no exception.

We’re been busy uploading a great set of new discount vouchers and offers for you, including deals from the likes of Wilkinson Plus, Sainsburys.co.uk, Debenhams, Cafe Rouge, CheapSmells.com, Dorothy Perkins, and more. We’re always on the lookout for new offers so, if you see anything special that you think would benefit others, please can you let us know just by commenting on this post?

Monday has already seen a bit of an upturn in interest for some of our travel discounts, with the “trending discounts” section of our homepage showing (at the time of writing this post) some great offers for Cottages 4 You, Holiday Autos, Holiday Inn Express, and Park BCP. We hope that you like the trending section of our home page as it really helps to showcase the offers that our users are utilising.

With the Screwfix Sale, last week’s most popular discount, now finished, our “Most Popular” section is currently headed up by offers from the likes of Holiday Inn Express, New Look, Cottages 4 You, Monarch Flights, and Holiday Inn.

It’s not difficult to imagine why people are looking to travel at the moment, given the quantities of rain that the UK has seen over the last month and, to help you get added value on your travels, we already have some great deals for you on our website but we’ll be looking at adding even more offers over the coming weeks to ensure that you get access to fantastic travel discounts and deals that will continue to help you for this summer and beyond.

So, whether you are looking at booking a summer holiday abroad, a UK cottage holiday, a city break, a camping weekend, a road trip, or something else, we hope that you have a fantastic time. Get Added Value On Eurozone Holidays This Year

Most people like to get value for money when travelling abroad and, with the Euro rate for UK travellers now being around 10% better than it was a year ago, a trip into the Eurozone can now be cheaper than it has been over the past few years.

Currently you can get an exchange rate of around €1.20 to every £1, which UK holidaymakers haven’t seen since November 2008 (source:BBC.co.uk).

Although €1.20 is still not at the levels we saw prior to 2008, the current Euro exchange rate represents a significant improvement from recent years and is sure to be welcomed by UK tourists travelling throughout the Eurozone this year. (more…)

UK Cottages, Book While Availability Lasts

The summer period, by it’s very nature, is the most popular time of year to holiday and you will need to act fast if you want to secure the UK cottage holiday that you want.

In a lot of cases, this summer’s cottages have been available to book since last summer and, as a result, a lot of cottages will already have been snapped up for this season. New Hotel Websites

Just added today, we’ve now included new links to two fantastic hotel chains, namely those of Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson.

These hotel websites provide a massive choice of hotels throughout the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa with choices available whether you are looking to book for leisure or business.

Airport hotels, hotels with golf courses, hotels with a spa, and more are all covered with Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson, making sure that there is something for everyone and we’ll soon be loading in some new special offers for Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson to give you extra value when booking online.

As with the other hotel websites that we list, all the offers for these 2 new hotel websites, and more, can all be found within the Hotels section of our website.

We’re always on the lookout for new websites to add to what we have listed already. If there’s a website that you love and we don’t have it listed, please let us know and we’ll look at getting it listed and blogging about it too.

New iPads In-Stock At Play.com

Having recently bought a new iPad online, from Play.com, we were especially impressed by the service they provided and really felt that they deserved a special mention here because they far exceeded our expectations.

When we first searched for the new iPad 32GB 4G (on Monday afternoon), we quick found out that stock was very scarce and there was no availability at most online retailers. Ideally we would have liked to use a Reserve and Collect service to get our hands on it quickly, but this just wasn’t possible unfortunately. (more…)
